HAPPY 143rd BIRTHDAY CANADA!!!

On Thursday July 1st 2010, Canada will be celebrating 143 years as a country! It is a public holiday for Canadians (no work!) to celebrate the Constitutional Act of 1987 which brought the provinces together to form a country. It is also a time for Canadian to be thankful for the wonderful country that they live in.

Many friends and families get together and have BBQ’s, go to festivals, parades, air shows, listen to marching bands, and watch or set off their own fireworks — and of course there is always a mini rendition of our national anthem.
